Matt Gilchrest is an artist and musician based in Austin, Texas. He studied Art and Art History at the University of Texas before beginning a decade long program in Sandwich Preparation. All the while— when not hunched over two slices, computing measurements in units of meat and mayonnaise— he was honing his illustrative skills making posters and album art for local bands and venues.

Panini press behind him, Matt is currently working as a freelance illustrator and animator from his home studio in central Austin and fronting the band Dinner with Matt Gilchrest.
